Iranian first VP says Zimbabwe is Iran’s good friend
TEHRAN, Dec. 21 (MNA) -- Iranian first Vice President Mohammad Reza Rahimi called Zimbabwe a good friend of Iran and said Tehran respects this African.
In a meeting with Zimbabwean Water Development and Management Minister Samuel Sipepa Nkomo in Tehran on Tuesday, Rahimi said Iran supports all nations’ resistance against arrogant powers.
He added that Iran has a special view toward African countries and hopes the countries take back their lost rights.
Rahimi announced Iran’s readiness to cooperate with Zimbabwe in constructing dams and power plants.
The Zimbabwean minister said his country has taken back its rights and now it is exploiting its mines and resources.
The minister also sought Iran’s help in renovating his country’s water and electricity system.
