Expats invest $200m in Tehran Bourse
TEHRAN, Dec. 26(MNA) -- Iran`s minister of economy and finance stated that a major factor in the increase of Tehran Stock Exchange index has been foreign investment in the bourse including $200 million investments by Iranian expats.
Mohammad Hosseini, who was speaking at conference on the outcome of the expats’ confab in Tehran, said various measures have been taken to uplift the balance of economic affairs in the country.
The government wants to encourage Iranians residing abroad to make investments in stocks, trade and the process of privatization.
