Italian contest selects Iranian illustrations for exhibit
TEHRAN, Dec. 26 (MNA) -- Illustrations created by three Iranian artists were selected for exhibition at the Laura Orvieto International Illustration Competition in Italy.
Artworks by Saeid Alizadeh, Nasim Khuna-Mirdashti and Sima Shahmoradi will go on display at the Archeological Museum of Bologna from March 27 to April 30, 2011.
The competition marks the 100th anniversary of the publication of “Storie Della Storia Del Mondo” (Stories of the History of the World) by Laura Orvieto, released for the first time by the Bemporad publishing house of Florence in 1911, under the publisher Sergio Giunti.
