TEHRAN, Dec. 26 (MNA) -- Iran finished in eighth place in the 2010 Asian Women's Handball Championship.
On Friday, Iran lost to Thailand 30-20 and came eighth.
Iran had already lost to North Korea, Kazakhstan and China in the event.
The 2010 Asian Women's Handball Championship was held in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
The competition served as the Asian qualifying tournament for the 2011 World Women's Handball Championship in Brazil.
