Car production surpass 1.1m in Iran in 9 months
TEHRAN, Jan.1(MNA) -- Iran Khodro Company (IKCO) and Iran`s Saipa Company totally produced 1,116,776 cars in the first nine months of current Iranian calendar year (started March 20, 2010).
The amount shows 16 percent increase in comparison to the same period previous year.
Iran Khodro produced 554,482 vehicles in the mentioned period which is 17 percent more than the company’s production figure in the corresponding period previous year.
Saipa also produces 548,119 passenger cars in the first three quarters of the current Iranian calendar year which shows 14 percent rise compared to the previous year’s figure.
