Use of “Arab Gulf” instead of “Persian Gulf”
KHORRAMABAD,Jan.2(MNA)--Iran`s senior MP Alaeddin Boroujerdi noted that the use of the term “Arab Gulf” rather than its original and real name the Persian Gulf has been provoked by certain countries including Britain.
The Foreign Ministry is responsible to pursue the matter, added Boroujerdi, who is the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee chairman.
He also called on the Iranian nation to be sensitive to this issue.
