Ahmadinejad advises the West to shift policy on Iran

SEMNAN, Jan. 5 (MNA) -- Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that the Western countries will not achieve any good results if they do not shift their hostile policy toward Iran.

“Continuation of the previous path will give no result but further failure and humiliation, and you (the Westerners) will lose your face,” Ahmadinejad told a gathering of people in Semnan on Tuesday.

The nation will not allow the enemies to carry out their plans against Iran and “all enemies should take their dreams to the grave,” he said.

“Now, all the nations know that the most hated people and governments in the world are those who have acted against the Iranian nation over the past 32 years (since the victory of the Islamic Revolution in 1979),” he explained.

He went on to say that it is better for them to rectify their mistakes and make up for their wrongdoings.

“You should accept that you have made mistakes… and you should change the path you have taken so far.”

The Western countries should also stop bullying or invading other countries and instead respect nations’ rights, the president noted.

“Then the nations may give you an opportunity to make up for your disgraceful past and allow you to live freely along with other nations.”
