Saudi Medical Team conducts 6 Cochlear Implants in Kuwait 2 Riyadh
Another Jordanian Medical team conducted similar operations in the
past two days.
On his part, Dr. Khalid Al-Abdulahdi, The head of ENT department in
Zain Hospital in Kuwait said that The Kwaiti Ministry of Health might
not be in need to send any case for treatment abroad, with respect to
the Cochlear Implant from now onwards because such operations have
became possible to be undertaken inside Kuwait with the skill and
mastery of the hands of foreign consultants.
In a press statement, DR Al-Abdulahdi said "We have invited a
delegation of doctors and consultants from Saudi Arabia and the
Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the Salim Ali Centre for Speech and
Hearing therapy to conduct these surgeries. It is the First time,
doctors with remarkable levels, both surgeons and programmers, and
all of them highly experienced and graduates of American, Canadian
and British universities, have been intentionally contacted as these
Arab consultants have easy dealings with patients."
He pointed out that a Kuwaiti medical team attended those operations
to gain more experience and to conduct Cochlear Implants in the
future by themselves.
