Zebari asserts to Egyptian Ambassador Iraq’s concern for Egypt’s security, stability
Baghdad (NINA) – Foreign Minister, Hoshyar Zebari asserted Iraq’s concern for Egypt’s security and stability.
A statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, “Zebari met with Egypt’s Ambassador to Iraq, Shareef Kamal Shaheen, discussing latest developments on the Egyptian arena.”
It added, “The Minister asserted to Ambassador Shaheen Iraqi government’s keenness for Egypt’s security and stability and that Egyptian leadership and people are the ones who decide the future of their country.”
Zebari affirmed, “Continuing preparations for holding the Arab Summit in Baghdad on time, and Egypt’s important role, which will be after current events more vital and strength.”
