English-speaking 'Ganesha' to hit big screens on August 22
to the film by the same name released last year, is all set tohit the big screens on August 22.
Interestingly, kids will see an English speaking Ganesha attired in T-shirt, bermuda shorts, a hat and has a guitar inhand. He also sports a 'swastik' tattoo.
This time he will be accompanied by his companion, themouse on his latest sojourn among mortals.
Speaking to P.T.I. here, the film's director Rajiv S Ruia said, "While making the first part, I and my writer Sachindra Sharma decided that if the film becomes a hit, we will go for its sequel. Now we are already working on part three." In the sequel, the elephant-headed god is invoked by a young boy belonging to a very modern family and hence Ganesha's westernised attire is because of how the young boyvisualises him to be.
The movie features animated characters, Ganesha and the mouse. Besides, the other cast includes Master Ali, Harsh Chhaya, Bhairavi Goswami, Suhasini Mulay, Sulbha Deshpande and Upasana Singh. PTI MR
