Two arrested for Indian's murder in U.S.

for the murder of an Indian store manager while he was walkingto work in Delaware state in the U.S.

Kanubhai Patel, 46, was found dead with a single gunshot wound by his wife Ramila on Aug nine, the second suchattack targeting the community within a week.

Dominique A. Earl, 19, and 22-year-old Kason M. Horta, were charged with first-degree murder, robbery and other weapons offenses and held without bail at the Howard YoungCorrectional Centre, police said.

The Patels, who were married for about 20 years, moved to the United States from India in 1999, and had lived inDelaware about five years, their friends and relatives said.

A fingerprint that was found on Patel's personalproperty scattered at the scene led to an arrest, police said.

Patel's cell phone was taken and the cell phone records also assisted police in finding the suspects, The NewsJournal reported.

"I'm very happy that they got them," said Rhohit Patel, the victim's brother-in-law. "But it doesn't mean much to the family because they lost Kanu." Meanwhile, Kanubhai Patel's family delayed the cremation till Thursday as his father and sons could could notget a visa to enter the United States.

Bhailal Patel, the victim's brother, came from Chicagoto light the cremator.

The relatives are worried for the family as KanubhaiPatel was the sole provider.

A 62-year-old Indian immigrant Inder Jit Jassal was shot dead at a convenience store where he worked last week by an African-American man even as the assailant's minor sonswatched in Arizona state.
