Mashhad subway comes on stream
TEHRAN, Feb.22(MNA) -- On the auspicious occasion of the birth anniversary of the Prophet of Islam and the 6th Imam (pbut),Mashhad(Iran's holiest city and the capital of "Razavi Khorasan" province) subway was opened for test runs.
The subway will initially run from 9:00 to 13:00 in a 35-minute, 19 kilometer route with 22 stops.
