Iran ready to send humanitarian aid to Libya
Assaluyeh, Feb 24, IRNA – Secretary General of Iran’s Red Crescent Society Zaher Rostami said on Wednesday that the Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to dispatch relief aid to the victims of nationwide uprising in Libya.
Speaking to IRNA, he said it is a regret to witness exesive violence and use of force against innocent civilians during recent unrests in Libya.
Iran has voiced readiness through coordination with International Commitee of Red Cross to take timely action to this effect, he said.
Iran Red Crescent Society is prepared to render medical services to the victims of such conflicts, he said./en
