Pak researcher hails Iran’s scientific development
Islamabad, Feb 26, IRNA – Pakistani researcher here on Friday said that Iran can serve as a role model for other nations for making a considerable scientific progress despite Western conspiracies.
Speaking to IRNA Muhammad Khalid Jamil executive director of a research institute and senior journalist said that there is no doubt about that Iran is fastest growing scientific power.
The researcher welcomed the statement Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad who had said that Iranian nation is to make a scientific breakthrough next year, thus preparing the grounds for being the pioneer of global civilizations.
President Ahmadinejad made the remark in the 8th gathering commemorating “National Day of Engineering” which was held in Tehran.
Iranian scientists and engineers are successfully going ahead on the path of success and development, said the president.
“We consider the Iranians as our brothren and their achievement is our achievement”, added Khalid Jamil.
The analyst said that Iran and Pakistan are very close to each other historically, culturally and geographically. “We share same religion and values”, stated the journalist.
“Iran has always helped Pakistan in difficult times”, he added.
The journalist was of the view that reason why Iran is progressing in every field is that they are not depending on Western technologies like other Muslim countries. “I must say that Iran is a role model for other countries and especially for the Muslim states”, he noted.
He added that sanctions could not stop any kind of development in Iran.
“No country in the world could compromise its integrity against economic sanctions, idea of sanctions is not viable”, said the intellectual.
The analyst expressing his views said that sanctions pushed Iran to progress independently in every field.
Khalid Jamil regretted that the resources of most of Muslims countries are being controlled by the Western powers.
“They lack technical expertise and are dependent upon the Western technologies”, he stated./end
