Int’l community agrees to Iran’s peaceful n-activities: Danish researcher

Tehran, Feb 27, IRNA – A Danish researcher said that Iran is entitled to peaceful nuclear activities and the international community has recognized such a right for it.

Sindi Vstergard made the remark after the International Atomic Energy Organization (IAEA) verified the peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear program for 26th times.

Underlining the need to continue talks between Iran and the West, he also said that the only solution to Iran’s nuclear issue is negotiations.

He also proposed the third countries’ involvement in fuel swap deal in a bid to solve the problem.

Ambassador and Permanent Representative to IAEA Ali-Asghar Soltaniyeh said on Friday that the agency once again and for 26th time verified the peaceful nature of Iranian nuclear program.

Soltaniyeh focusing on IAEA Chief Amano’s latest report on Iran said in an exclusive interview with IRNA at IAEA headquarters in Vienna, “The particular feature of this report is that for the first time it has been divided into two separate sections. The first section is allocated to Iran’s commitments regarding the nuclear Non Proliferation Treaty (the NPT).”

The Ambassador added, “The second section pertains to the Agency’s demands regarding the UN Security Council resolutions, in whose case we have proved that they are legally invalid in accordance with the international laws and therefore non-applicable.”/end
