Mehmanparast: Iran tries to reveal realities about Imam Musa Sadr
Tehran, Feb 27, IRNA – Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast said on Saturday that the Islamic Republic of Iran spares no efforts to help reveal realities about Imam Musa Sadr.
According to the Information and Press Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Islamic Republic of Iran fully backs the move of Libyan Muslims as the two countries share common historical commonalties.
He also paid tribute to the Libyan martyrs and voiced Iran’s readiness for dispatch of immediate humanitarian aid to that country.
As the wave of Islamic awareness has engulfed the entire Libya, the people should exercise vigilance and maintain their unity to attain their goals, he said.
OIC members along with countries of the region should be sensitive to any type of aggression and interference which might violate Libya’s territorial integrity, he said./end
