Western-made weapons killing people in Arab countries: Ahmadinejad
TEHRAN, Mar,1(MNA) -- Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that the dictators in the Arab world are targeting their own people with weapons made by the U.S. and its European allies.
“Today, the dictators in the region are killing their people with the weapons they have purchased from the U.S. and its allies,” Ahmadinejad stated on Monday.
“The dictators who are killing their people, do not have the capability to make a simple device and are using the weapons they have purchased from the U.S. and its allies to kill their people… the U.S. government and its allies must be held accountable for imposing dictatorship on the people of these countries over the past 30 to 40 years.”
He added the countries that established dictatorial system in the world claim to be the advocates of democracy.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Ahmadinejad stated that the West is afraid of Iran and it is making efforts to hinder Iran’s steady progress.
Addressing the arrogant powers, Ahmadinejad said, “Your dreams will never come true; the Iranian nation will resist, make the country prosper, and present a perfect model to the world.”
