Seminar on campaign against sea pollution to be held in Iran
TEHRAN,Mar.1(MNA)-- Iran planned to hold a seminar on campaign against sea pollution and a relevant drill near the coastal waters of Bushehr on March 2-3.
The conference will be attended by a number of representatives from the Persian Gulf littoral states.
Saeed Izadian, Iranian deputy director of the maritime affairs at Iran’s Ports and Maritime Organization, said that the major aims behind the drill are to implement the national plan to fight sea pollution, boost the national preparedness in the face of maritime incidents and increase coordination between the regional countries in this regard.
