Iran President: Int'l Nowruz Celebrations belong to all nations
Tehran, March 27, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, in a meeting with Zanzibar Vice-President here, said that Nowruz is a festivity of convergence among mankind and this ceremony belongs to all nations.
According to the report of Presidential Office website on Saturday, President Ahmadinejad in the meeting with Zanzibar vice president, who is in Tehran to attend Int'l Nowruz Celebrations, by referring to the expanding relations of the two countries said that in the culture of both countries respect, friendship, honesty and justice have a high position.
He said that Iran is ready to expand mutual cooperation in different fields.
The Zanzibar VP, for his part, expressed pleasure with his visit to Iran and said that the two countries have always had very good relations and expressed hope that the ties could be deeper.
Congratulating the new Iranian year, he added that the celebrations can strengthen cooperation between all countries and in this regard Zanzibar is ready for every kind of cooperation./end
