Over 100 reporters cover Nowrouz Int'l festival
Tehran, March 28, IRNA - Over 100 reporters, photographers and photo journalists from Iran and abroad cover the 2nd International Nowrouz Festival in Tehran.
The international festival kicked off in Tehran on Sunday morning when Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad welcomed and hosted his counterparts from Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Armenia and Iraq at Sa'abd cultural and historical complex.
The ceremony will continue at Vahdat Hall this afternoon.
The presidents of guests countries are to deliver speeches during the ceremony.
Ranking officials from other countries such as Pakistan, Zanzibar, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Lebanon, Oman, India, Kyrgyzstan and Singapore are also present in the international festival.
Various cultural and artistic programs are to be performed in the ceremony.
The 1st International Nowrouz Festival was held in Iran on March 27, 2010.
Nowrouz tradition was registered by UNESCO in 2010./end
