Larijani meets Lebanese FM, Zanzibar VP
Tehran, March 29, IRNA – Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani said here on Monday evening that the latest developments in the region would benefit the regional nations.
He made the remarks in a meeting with visiting Lebanese Foreign Minister Ali al-Shami.
The two officials underlined the need for consolidation of unity and solidarity among the regional nations and called for further expansion of Tehran-Beirut relations in all areas.
In related developments, the Iranian parliament speaker reviewed issues of mutual interest with visiting Vice-President of Zanzibar Seif Ali Iddi yesterday evening./end
