Baku hosts awarding ceremony of photographic competition on intercultural dialogue
Baku, April 9 (AzerTAc). Awarding ceremony of the winners “The best Photo” was held in Buta Palace on Friday.
Addressing the ceremony, Azerbaijan Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfaz Garayev thanked guests for attendance the World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue.
The winners were announced: first place “A boy in Khinalig” by Shirin Rzayev, second place “We are a family” by Rafig Gambarov, third place “Dilaogue of cultures” by Farid Khayrulin.
Diplomas and money prizes were presented to winners.
A photo contest, “The best photo”, had been announced to present Azerbaijan as the center of intercultural dialogue in the World Intercultural Dialogue Forum.
The event`s aim was to popularize living traditions, cooperation and dialogue among the peoples living in Azerbaijan and in the world, cultures and religious.
A photo exhibition consisted of more than 100 photos was organized in the “Gulustan” Palace`s foyer. Participants of the World Forum elected winners.
