Police block path of protestors towards Saudi Consular Office

Mash’had, April 9, IRNA – Police forces here Friday night blocked path of a group of angry citizens who intended to gather in front of Saudi Consular Office to protest to Saudi forces’ massacre of Bahraini civilians.

After performing their evening prayer at Mashhad’s Imam Sajjad (P) Mosque, in vicinity of the Saudi Consular Office, the protesters began their rally towards the office.

This was one of the several similar protest rallies in Mash’had in protest against the brutal massacre of the Bahraini innocent civilians who have been asking for their natural rights for over a month, and been faced with the foreign intervention of the Saudi forces.

The Mashhadi protesters after facing the police blockade continued their path towards Azadi Street and Esteqlal Bridge, chanting slogans against the unjust oppression imposed against the Bahraini Muslims.

The self-propelled rally of this group of Mash’hadi citizens as also dispersed by the police forces at that spot and ended as they got scattered in side alleys and streets in the area./end
