President: Iran should turn into nuclear technology exporter
Tehran, April 10, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said here on Saturday that Iran should turn into a center of producing and exporting nuclear technology.
Addressing a ceremony marking the fifth nuclear technology festival, he pointed out that no nuclear capacity should remain out of reach of the Iranians.
The ceremony was attended by Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi and Head of Iran’s Nuclear Energy Organization Fereydoun Abbasi.
During the event, Abbasi presented a report on the latest nuclear achievements of the country.
Thanks to the main achievements in the field of nuclear energy in Iran since 2006, High Cultural Revolution Council designated April 9 as the ‘National Day of Nuclear Technology’.
In a special ceremony in Mashhad, Khorasan Razavi province, in the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS), the eight Imam of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) Household, in April 2006, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad announced that Iran has joined the nuclear countries club./end
