Majlis supports promotion of cutural ties between Iran-Japan
Tehran, April 11, IRNA – Chairman of Majlis Cultural Commission Gholamali Haddad-Adel said here on Sunday that Majlis supports promoting political, cultural and academic exchanges between Iran and Japan.
In a meeting with the country's ambassador to Iran, Kinichi Kumano, he further referred to the history of the two countries’ political and cultural relations and said that Japan as an Asian country has always had a positive status before the Iranians.
“The two nations had regular cooperation in various fields such as culture, politics and economy,” he noted.
Diplomatic shuttles between the two countries will help promote mutual understanding between the two nations about each other, Haddad-Adel said.
Kumano, for his part, described Iran as a significant country with an ancient civilization and said that the two countries have numerous capacities for developing bilateral ties./end
