Iran, safe for foreign investments: MP
Tehran, April 11, IRNA -- A lawmaker and member of Iran's Majlis (Parliament) Development Commission, Mohammad Hossein Moqimi, said on Sunday that the would-be investors can enjoy a high level of safety in the country.
Moqimi said Iran is the best place for investment and sustainable security and extensive support of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei from foreign investments are sufficient for becoming encouraged to invest in Iran.
He noted that the government and Majlis (Parliament) are duty-bound to pave the grounds for foreign investors.
'The legislative body should expedite approval of laws that would facilitate the investment in the country,' the lawmaker added.
