Conference on philosophy of dialogue adopts memo in Baku
Baku, April 11 (AzerTAc). A memorandum was signed at a special meeting of directors of Association of European and Asian Philosophy Institutions held as part of an international conference “The variety of cultures and the philosophy of dialogue in modern world”, within the framework of the World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue.
The document calls for serous efforts to safeguard diversity and independence of cultures and expansion of cultural relationship in a globalizing world.
The meeting featured reports on “Four types of cultures and their mutual relationship”, “Philosophical basis of “I” and “someone” concepts as part of intercultural dialogue”, “National and spiritual values in postmodern philosophy: from cultural variety point of view” and others.
