Students stage gathering to protest Saudi military presence in Bahrain
Tehran, April 12, IRNA – Students staged a gathering near the Saudi Arabian Embassy here on Monday to protest its military intervention in Bahrain and the killing of Arab citizens.
Holding Bahraini flags and photos of Bahraini martyrs in the recent incidents, they condemned the Saudi Arabian military deployment in the tiny Arab kingdom.
The students also expressed their hatred over the western countries’ military presence in the region.
They are to issue a communiqué at the end of the gathering and will deliver a copy of it to the Saudi Arabian Embassy./end
