OIC secretary apologizes to Iran
Tehran, April 12, IRNA -- Secretary General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu apologized to Iran over the publication of unrealistic material against Iran in the organization’s website.
According to a report by the Foreign Ministry’s Information and Pres Bureau, he raised the issue in a telephone conversation with Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi.
He said the material has been published when he was in Jeddah and without any coordination with him .
'I ordered immediate removal of the material,' he said./end
