US congressman makes statement on 31 March - Day of Genocide of Azerbaijanis
Baku, April 12 (AzerTAc). Texas State House of representative John Zervas made a statement on 31 March - Day of Genocide of Azerbaijanis.
The statement says that more than twelve thousand of Azerbaijanis, Jews, Persians, Kurds, and Lezghins were killed as a result of Armenian aggression in Baku, Guba, Shamakhi, Shusha, Nakchivan, and Iravan provinces in 1918.
As a result of the incidents among Armenian, Azeri and Bolshevik groups, threats of the civil war were occurred. The aggressive acts were cruel especially in Baku, Shamakhi, Guba, and Shusha.
