Pakistan suggests Japan further enhancing military to military ties
Rawalpindi, Aug 29 PPI: Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) of Pakistan General Tariq Majid appreciated Japanese engagement in economic and infrastructure development in Pakistan in various areas of mutual interest and suggested further enhancement of military to military ties.
He was talking to outgoing Japanese ambassdor, Seiji Kojima who called on him here
Friday at Joint Staff Headquarters here on today. They discussed matters pertaining
to changing security environment in the region, enhancement of military cooperation
between two friendly countries and other issues of mutual interest.
General Majid highlighted importance of Pakistan - Japan relation and said Pakistan
is cognizant of constructive role played by Japan in global and Asian affairs for
peace, progress and stability.
