Poll points to dwindling support for Dutch anti-Islam party

Berlin, April 12, IRNA - A new survey pointed to diminished support for the Dutch anti-Islam Party for Freedom of Geert Wilders, according to the Dutch press.
If Dutch parliamentary elections were to be held today, the Islamophobic party PVV would lose two seats from its current 24.
The PVV gained 15.5 percent popular vote in last year's parliamentary elections. There are 150 seats in the Dutch parliament.
The controversial Wilders party is backing a right-wing minority coalition government.
The latest poll was released in the wake of a series of inner-PVV party scandals in recent times./end
