Azeri scientist visits Spanish University of Basque Country
Baku, April 13 (AzerTAc). First vice-president of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), academician Arif Hashimov visited Bilbao, Spain.
The aim of the visit was to discuss the results of scientific works between the Azerbaijan National Academy of Science and the University of the Basque Country and sign cooperative education contract.
The four-year contract envisages the development of educational and research cooperation between the ANAS and the university.
The University of the Basque Country is the only public university in northern Spain. It is a major research institution conducting 90 percent of the studies in the area.
