Iran's consul general presents credentials to Tatarstan president
Moscow, April 16, IRNA – Iran's new Consul General in Kazan Rasoul Shayan submitted his credentials to Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov on Friday.
In the meeting, the president wished success for Iranian new consul general and expressed hope that relations between Iran and Russia Federation develop, strengthen and expand during the new consul tenure.
After submitting his credentials, Shayan presented an official invitation letter from Iran's Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi to President Minnikhanov to pay a visit to Iran.
The Tatrstan republic has 3.8 million population and an area of 67.8 thousand square kilometers./end
