Azeri Emergency Situations Minister meets US Ambassador to Azerbaijan
Baku, April 16 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s Minister of Emergency Situations, colonel-general Kamaladdin Heydarov met with United States ambassador to Azerbaijan, Matthew Bryza.
Azeri minister highlighted the activity of the ministry, projects realized by the ministry, as well as relations with international and regional organizations.
The sides also discussed infrastructure protection, trainings on disaster prevention in Caspian, flood management issues, and cooperation prospects with US European Command and Army Corps of Engineers.
In his turn, Matthew Bryza stressed the importance of boosting ties and expanding cooperation between the two countries` relevant organizations.
