Iran-Turkey-Azerbaijan living in a unified cultural world: Salehi

Orumiyeh, West Azarbaijan, April 17, IRNA – Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi said here on Saturday that Iran, Turkey and Azerbaijan Republic are living in a unified cultural world sharing a single religion and ideology.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony of the first foreign ministerial summit of Iran, Turkey, Azerbaijan Republic on Saturday, he added that the three nations have common honorable history.

“Thanks to strong historical, spiritual culture and civilization, they deserve a bright future,” he noted.

Salehi also said that having a bright future requires cooperation among the nations.

The summit manifests the unanimity of views among the three countries, aiming to find out the opportunities for materializing ‘unified cultural world’ and encounter the challenges facing them, he said.

“Trilateral cooperation will not only benefit the countries and the entire region but also it can lay a foundation for developing ties with other states,” he said.

He also said that fortunately, the three countires have a common stances regarding regional developments and favor developing of economic ties to help establish peace and stability in the region.

Day-long Trilateral Summit of Iran, Turkey and Azerbaijan Republic Foreign Ministers was held in Orumiyeh to discuss political and economic issues./end
