Azeri women chess players to compete in European championship
Baku, April 18 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani women chess players will compete in the European championship in Tbilisi, Georgia from May 6 to 18.
The tournament will bring together 131 chess players, as well as 62 grandmasters.
Azerbaijan`s hopes will be pinned on Zeyneb Mammadyarova, Turkan Mammadyarova, Narmin Kazımova, Gulnar Mammadova, Nargiz Umudova, Khayala Abdulla, Parvana İsmayılova, Sabina İbrahimova, Khayala İsgandarova, Narmin Khalafova, Ulviyya Fataliyeva, Sabina Guliyeva and Narmin Soyunlu.
Total prize fund of the tournament amounts to € 110,000.
