Ambroise Dupont: Our visit aims to further develop friendship and cooperation ties
Baku, April 18 (AzerTAc). I am a close friend of Azerbaijan. Today`s development of Azerbaijan makes me happy. Our visit to Baku aims to further develop friendship and cooperation ties, chairman of the France-Caucasus friendship group of the French Senate Ambroise Dupont told AzerTAc`s correspondent.
Dupont expressed satisfaction with current level of relations between Azerbaijan and France, adding “opening of the French school in Baku, which was initiated by Azerbaijan`s First Lady, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO Goodwill ambassador, head of Azerbaijan-France inter-parliamentary friendship group Mehriban Aliyeva, will make certain contribution to development of the bilateral ties”.
He said France, as a Minsk Group co-chair, continues its efforts to reach peaceful resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, noting the Senate “is also ready to support this process”.
