Envoy: Iran-Azerbaijan Republic to open border crossing gate
Baku, April 20, IRNA – Iran's ambassador to Baku said the two countries have agreed to open a border crossing gate to facilitate transport of citizens from both nations.
Mohammad Baqer Bahrami told reporters here on Tuesday that on the sidelines of Oroumeyeh Meeting, foreign ministers of Iran and Azerbaijan Republic agreed to open a border passing gate soon.
He also evaluated the achievements of trilateral meeting of Iran, Turkey and Azerbaijan Republic in Oroumeyeh 'very important' and added that the meeting showed that unity and solidarity among these three countries could be very decisive in international and regional issues.
Bahrami continued that convergence between the three countries can use their potentials in direction of establishment of peace, stability and development in the region./end
