MP: Regional Nations Bear Tyrannical Rulers No More
TEHRAN, April 25 (FNA)- A senior Iranian legislator condemned the massacre of the innocent Muslim people by tyrannical regimes in different countries, and said the regional nations will no more tolerate the ruling of bullying and anti-Islamic regimes.
"Certainly, the vigilant Muslim people of the region will no more bear the rule of tyranny and anti-Islamism and they will not be satisfied with anything less than victory," Asadollah Abbasi said, addressing his colleagues in an open session of the parliament on Sunday.
He deplored the daily massacre of the Muslims in different countries of the Middle-East and North Africa, and said, "Massacre of the people in Bahrain which is being done with the support of the Al-Khalifa and Saudi regimes will not help the tyrannical rulers of the Persian Gulf country to survive and will only reveal the real face of the so-called human rights advocates,"
Abbasi also stressed the influence of Iran's Islamic Revolution on the current developments in the region, saying that the Iranian Revolution has served as a role model for the regional people in their uprisings against their autocratic rulers.
Earlier, Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei had also stressed that the recent developments in North Africa and other parts of the Muslim world signify the impacts of the Islamic awakening inspired by the Islamic Revolution in Iran.
"Today, developments in North Africa, (including) Egypt, Tunisia and some other countries have a special meaning for the Iranian nation," Ayatollah Khamenei said in February, addressing thousands of worshipers on Tehran University campus.
"This is what was always referred to as the Islamic awakening created by the victory of the great revolution of the Iranian nation," the Leader stated.
