Azerbaijan, Georgia discuss transport cooperation

Baku, April 25 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s Transport Minister Ziya Mammadov has met Georgian Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Vera Kobalia.
The talks focused on a wide range of issues, including development of Azerbaijan-Georgia relationship, potential of transportation of transit cargo, course of construction of Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railroad and joint projects.
Mammadov briefed Kobalia on the large-scale projects carried out in his country. He said due to President Ilham Aliyev`s successful policy, Azerbaijan had already become one of leader countries for political stability and economic development.
Touching upon Azerbaijan-Georgia cooperation, Mammadov underlined the necessity of developing it even more.
For her part, Kobalia said Georgia was interested in development of cooperation with Azerbaijan in all spheres of transport sector.
