TEHRAN ,April 26 (FNA)- Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Hayati Yazici is due to arrive here in Tehran on Wednesday.
Yazici, who is also the minister of state for Turkey's state and administrative affairs, is due to visit the Iranian capital at the head of a delegation.
The visit by Yazici and his accompanying delegation will take place at the invitation of Iranian Vice-President for Human Resources, Management and Development Massoud Hadiyan Dehkordi.
During the daylong stay in Tehran, the Turkish deputy premier is slated to attend meetings with ranking Iranian officials to discuss bilateral ties and mutual cooperation in various fields.
Iran and Turkey have in recent years increased their cooperation in all the various fields of economy, security, trade, education, energy and culture.
The two sides have exchanged several politico-economic delegations during the last few months.
Last Saturday, a delegation of senior Turkish diplomats and officials were in Iran to attend a tripartite meeting with top officials and diplomats of Iran and Azerbaijan in the Northwestern city of Orumiyeh.
The three neighbors are eager to expand their economic, investment, border, transit and cultural cooperation, given their age-old and profound relations and their shared borders.
