There is a great need for strengthening of scientific potential, President
Baku, April 27 (AzerTAc). There is a great need for strengthening of scientific potential in the atmosphere of development of our independence, said President Ilham Aliyev in the annual general meeting of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS).
“Azerbaijan is pursuing a successful policy. Our country is developing. This development shows itself in all directions”, the Head of State said.
The Azerbaijani leader stressed a development of science should be coordinated with general development rate. “Unity of science, education and economy should be created in Azerbaijan”, the President added. The President also noted contributions of Azerbaijani scientists to development of the country in all spheres.
“The basic question concerning scientific progress is determining of priorities correctly. Concrete proposals must be submitted for this purpose”, he said.
