Speaker of Azerbaijan`s Milli Majlis meets Turkish and Kazakh counterparts in Astana

Astana, April 28 (AzerTAc). Speaker of Azerbaijan`s Milli Majlis Ogtay Asadov met Wednesday head of Grand National Assembly of Turkey Mehmet Ali Sahin.
Asadov said relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey were developing successfully.
The talks focused on a wide range of issues, including development of Azerbaijan-Turkey political, economic, cultural cooperation, inter-parliamentary ties and Azerbaijan`s initiatives to settle the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict peacefully.

The same day Asadov met Chairman of Kyrgyzstan Parliament, Jogorku Kenesh Akhmatbek Keldibekov.
They discussed expansion of bilateral cooperation, particularly inter-parliamentary ties and intensification of reciprocal visits.
Touching upon the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Asadov noted due to Armenia`s non-constructive position, the problem still remains unsettled.
Keldibekov, in turn, said his country supports Azerbaijan`s stance on the issue.
Azerbaijan`s ambassador to Kazakhstan Zakir Hashimov was present in the meetings.
