Lithuanian President and Azerbaijan`s First Lady tour historic core of Baku
Baku, May 3 (AzerTAc). President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaite and Azerbaijan`s First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO Goodwill Ambassador, MP Mehriban Aliyeva have today toured the Icharishahar, Inner City, historic core of Azerbaijan`s capital.
The President was informed about the Icharishahar which was included in the UNESCO`s World Heritage List.
Mrs. Grybauskaite visited the Maiden Tower, the Palace of Shirvanshahs and Buhara Karavansaray.
Then, Mrs. Grybauskaite and Azerbaijan`s First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva visited the Art Garden.
The Lithuanian President and Mrs. Aliyeva had a tea party here.
