GUAM chief says international airport can not operate in Karabakh
Baku, May 4 (AzerTAc). “No international airport can operate in Nagorno-Karabakh,” said GUAM Secretary General Valeriy Chechelashvili.
Chechelashvili said the entire world knows that the Nagorno-Karabakh`s air space belongs to Azerbaijan.
“An airport in Nagorno-Karabakh can not function without Azerbaijan. There are international rules and procedures and an international organization, which coordinates international flights, must pass a decision on the opening of an international airport. The Nagorno Karabakh`s air space is out of control. The entire world recognizes Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity.”
“It is practically impossible to implement it without Azerbaijan`s permission,” Chechelashvili added.
