Baku hosts scientific session on 150th anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore
Baku, May 6 (AzerTAc). A scientific session has been today held on the 150th anniversary of prominent figure of Indian literature Rabindranath Tagore at the Literature Institute named after Nizami Ganjavi of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS).
Participants of the event familiarized themselves with the exhibition featuring the outstanding Indian literary man`s productions and research works on his creative activity.
The scientific session brought together scientists from Azerbaijan and India.
Opening the session, academician Bakir Nabiyev informed participants on life and creative activity of Rabindranath Tagore.
PhD, Professor Vagif Arzumanli and Indian professor Abhijit Jen delivered reports.
