Azeri judoist claims gold at Baku Grand Prix tournament

Baku, May 7 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani female judoist Kifayat Gasimova weighing in at 57 kg mounted the highest step on the podium by beating Chinese Hyu Vang during the Judo Grand Prix tournament in Baku.
The tournament, which brought together 580 judo fighters from 53 countries, is dedicated to the 88th birthday of national leader Heydar Aliyev.
Azerbaijan is represented by 33 judoists.
