Berlin hosts Azeri artist`s exhibition
Baku, May 7 (AzerTAc). Exhibition of Azerbaijani young artist Maryam Alakhbarli and her German colleague Daniel Larsen-Vefring opened in Baku-Berlin Art Gallery in German capital.
The opening ceremony brought together Azerbaijani ambassador to Germany, artists and cultural figures, representatives of the country`s community and activists of Azerbaijani Diaspora.
Opening the ceremony, director of the gallery Ibrahim Ehrari thanked organizers and authors of the paintings.
Azerbaijani ambassador to Germany Parviz Shahbazov underlined the important role of the Baku-Berlin Art Gallery for strengthening of the cultural ties between the two countries.
Pro-rector of Azerbaijan State Academy of Art, People`s Artist Salkhab Mammadov and German artist, docent of the Universities of Art in Berlin and Potsdam Inge Schmidt made speeches at the event.
