19th anniversary of Shusha`s occupation marked in Georgia
Baku, May 10 (AzerTAc). A commemorative event was held at the Azerbaijanis Culture Center in Georgia to mark the 19th anniversary of the occupation of Shusha.
Head of the Center, Fazil Hasanov, highlighted Arrmenians` crimes against Azerbaijanis, in particular the occupation of Shusha.
“Shusha was the cultural cradle not only for Azerbaijan but for the whole world.”
MP Ganira Pashayeva spoke of Shusha`s history, and the city`s contribution to the world`s cultural heritage.
Other speakers shared their memories of Shusha, and expressed hope Azerbaijan`s occupied territories would be liberated as soon as possible.
The event also featured the demonstration of a film about Shusha.
